But I think that&#039;s a great conclusion about our willingness to shell out hundreds for all forms of electronic entertainment, except for music and (sometimes) films. Again, great piece and hopefully we&#039;ll have more discussions like this!</description>

Your final paragraph reminds me of a recent NPR opinion piece that noted that people that download music have little to no problem spending hundreds of dollars a month on data plans, web connections, computer payments, etc. It&#039;s no wonder music draws the short straw -- people spend so much on electronics that there&#039;s no room left to buy records.</description>
