I’ve been a huge fan of Neil Campbell’s various guises for almost 20 years now and hearing him still storming new ground and pushing his vision forward after that amount of time is a massive source of inspiration. He’s been molding all sorts of bizarro sounds with his Astral Social Club project since 2005 and if these excerpts from the newly minted #23 are any indication, it’s still growing. This is exactly the kind of fucked-up electronic music that I want rattling my skull.
