Shanghai punk duo Pairs have released Grandparent, an eight track EP available as a name your price download via their Bandcamp. The band, who Foxy D. interviewed earlier this year, are notoriously self-deprecating and announced the EP by saying they hoped it would ‘nudge out a lump of coal as [the] shittest gift’ this Christmas. A double vinyl version is due out on November 1st.
To celebrate the new album, Redscale Studios will unveil a new video – one for each track on Grandparent – each day this week. The first one, for ‘Gig Of The Week’, can be streamed below:
