Silber Media, the label run by Remora’s Brian John Mitchell, has announced a new series of EPs called ‘Five Songs in Five Minutes’. The first two, by MISTERSCIENCEand Mitchell himself, are available to download for $1 each and there will be a new EP added to the collection every week “for the next few months”. Remora’s is titled I Came To Party, which might surprise people who heard his last album for Fluttery Records because that thing sure as hell didn’t party.

Mr. Mitchell, if you didn’t know, is also making waves as a cartoonist. He’s managed to bag himself a mini-comic residency at Pittsburgh’s Cyberpunk Apocalypse Housewhere he’s going to spend a whole month working with like-minded artists. There’s some Kickstarter action going on here to help Mitchell fund the shindig, with original artwork and mini-comics available to backers. That’s some of his work over there ——–>

In other Silber news, the label has music from Plumerai, Electric Bird Noise and Irata due out this side of Christmas. Get yr orders in by the start of December if you want ‘em for gifts.
