Clinic, “Seamless Boogie Woogie BBC 10pm (rpt)” (Video)

Masked Liverpool psych stalwarts Clinic have announced a tour in support of their Free Reign album, and a version of said album featuring alternative mixes by Daniel Lopatin titled Free Reign II. Below is the video for ‘Seamless Boogie Woogie BBC 10pm (rpt)’, from the original album, the title for which I take to be a reference to Jools Holland’s long-running music show on which the former Squeeze member attempts to improve already established classics by vamping over them on his piano. It rarely works but he does it every week anyway, much to the delight of an audience of bankers, advertising execs and Phill Jupitus.

Both versions of Free Reign are out on Domino Records.
