Idiosyncratics
net labels are apparently the theme this week. up now is idiosyncratics, a new label out of belgium. they've also got a "real" label in addition to the net label happening, and both look quite promising.
up first in the physical format is a cd compilation called "idioscapes." it's got tracks from a whole host of artists with impressive credentials, from kk null to steffen basho-junghans to keith fullerton whitman to troum. there's 13 tracks in total. all this can be yours for 10euros/$13.50 (+ shipping), available HERE.
of note on the net label is a new track from foxy digitalis favorite and all-around nice guy, tim coster. it's one long track recorded in 2005, and can be downloaded directly HERE. you gotta love good, free stuff.
