Sunburned Hand of the Man is a music collective of between 5 and 15 musicians, based somewhere between Boston, NY, and Vermont, playing music that ranges from "the bizarre to the beautiful" (in the words of the BBC). They're just back on the east coast from the SouthxSouthwest Festival where they played in Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace Showcase, and will be heading out shortly to blow minds and spread good vibes on one of their many extended European tours.

Albany's Century Plants, featuring Eric Hardiman and Ray Hare, opens the show. Century Plants is a guitar-based duo playing improvisational noisy psychedelic minimalism. Working with an array of sound sources and strategies, they create sonic systems that simultaneously unsettle and hypnotize. Century Plants have released 6 full-length recordings in their first year alone, on underground labels from all over the globe, including Hardiman's Tape Drift Records.
