The Mystery of The Lost Domain...

Hi everyone,

I'd like to announce the release of a new Lost Domain cdr.

It is entitled "The Mystery of the Lost Domain" and it's the first part in a series of Lost Domain recordings that are going to be released this year on Cook An Egg.
Yet another cryptic description follows :

Three long muddy blues from the other side.

Howlin' wolves in the dead of night, subterranean homesick wails, ballroom dancing ghosts shaking out the dust from the long-gone sleeves...
Or as Mats Gustfasson wrote about their "Something Is..." cdr on Rhizome (and which could very well be applied here) : "[as if] the muted wailing of the desolate wind over some abandoned cabin in the forest would turn into a haunted piece of music".
For the already initiated, the music is situated at the crossroads (ah, ah!) between the more minimal soundscapes of "Palace" (PseudoArcana) and the more abstract/ sparser blues reveries featured on "Sailor, Home From The Sea" (Broken Face/ Digitalis).
Featuring special artwork/ insert by Eugene Carchesio.
First series of 100 copies.
8 euros ppd worldwide.
Soon available from BOA MELODY BAR (UK) and ECLIPSE (US) and maybe more..!
The Lost Domain : thelostdomain@gmail.com
Soon, I'll be posting more blog entries to introduce past Cook An Egg releases which include Zelienople, Pefkin, Horse Palace, Rory Storm, Shoeb Ahmad, Fallen, etc.
Forthcoming: Wax Ghost (!), Tô (experimental field recordings from France) and more Lost Domain!
Much love to everyone,
Francois

Thanks a lot Bruno. Glad to know you received the cdr's ! ;-)

By the way, have you found out what was the "secret cover" on track 1?

I'll keep you all posted as to when the other Lost Domain record on Cook will be released.

For your info, I'm going to send the packages to Eclipse and Boa Melody Bar this week.

You all take care,

Best,

Francois
