Grouper discography

Despite what Cory Card reckons (no hard feelings, mate) about how many albums Liz Harris has put out as Grouper, I reckon I know better.

Self-titled, 2005
Way Their Crept, 2006
Wide, 2006
Cover The Windows And The Walls, 2007

That would make Dragging A Dead Deer Up The Hill album no. 5. (All images from aQuarius Records, btw.) There're other releases too, listed here -- including a split with Xiu Xiu called Creepshow. They're all great albums, too!

there's also a 3" that was on jyrk (that i think is being reissued along with 'cover the windows..' on CD soon) and the split tape with inca ore (soon to be reissued on lp). cha-ching.

i'm sounding a bit stalkeresque. fuck.

Yeah, ironically Mr. Stalker the Jyrk 3" is called He Knows, He Knows, He Knows.

Note that the israelian edition of the "he knows, he knows, he knows" 3"cdr has been put out by Something on the road label
(strictly released for israelian market)

i really don't better

:)

ah ha, so it's all john's fault at type. that figures. gingers are to blame for most things in the world (second only to the french)

That's ok Cory, no worries. Especially since it was all John's fault :)

Ah! Don't forget Liz' duo recordings with Jorge Behringer as Flash Lights that I released a few years back ;)

ah dudes..

that first CDR is almost all tracks from WTC..

cover the windows and He Knows were considered EPs.. as well as the split with Inca Ore.. so.. yeah..

the three "proper" grouper albs are Way Their Crept, Wide and Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill.

Cover the Windows is being reissued later this year but in it's original form.. not with He Knows on it.. and the Inca Ore split is coming out on LP whenever RTI gets off their butts.

Liz fact checked this post from across the living room.

ya'll forgot the collabo alb with Xiu Xiu too.. c'mon dudes..
