Le Pot Pourri Questionnaire: Tom Carter

Charalambides' Tom Carter needs no introduction at this point. After piles and piles of recordings (solo, in duos, trios, quartets, etc etc), he has firmly established himself as one of improvised music's mainstays. He took some time out of his busy schedule to answer a few quick questions from the mighty Bruno Parisse - the first installment in his ongoing interview series.

Privileged, yes, lucky, maybe.

Everything
 

6. A thing you do to preserve Earth?
Avoid buying anything new.
 

7. An everyday task that doesn't give you much trouble?
Sleeping
 

8. What makes you laugh?
Cats making funny faces.
 

9. What do you do when you're angry?
Bite my fingers.
 

10. What is the last tricky thing you did?
Type with a cat in my lap (happening now).

Beard

Doing what's expected.

Restlessness.
