The packaging of the latest release on Sweden?s AA/Nosordo label is not the only good thing about this nice 7?. The limited vinyl disc comes in a personalised brown cardboard box with the sender and recipient address on the front and the release info on the back. Ljudbilden & Piloten is the one man project of Kristofer Str?m who is joined by Douglas Holmquist. His side is filled with a densely textured dreamy post-rock track, full of many instruments which are woven together in just the right way to float along.
The B-Side features a new track by Takuji Aoyagi aka Kama Aina who had a good collection of songs on the Geographic label and seems to be friends with the Glasgow scene around that label, too. ?Hotaru? is as good as anything he?s done before, but can maybe not reach the texture of the Ljudbilden & Piloten track. Nonetheless, Kama Aina?s playful percussive work and especially the beautiful piano playing in the middle of the track make this yet another successful contribution to the AA/Nosordo catalogue. 7/10 --
