Hypnotic elements that remind me of Kraut-Rock with a little more coherent Brit Psych mark this release, which, despite the seriousness of the titles, make for a fun, varied listen. One may feel impelled to wince slightly when reading that she is about to listen to such tunes as ?Stones Whisper in my Sleep,? ?Cyborgs of Unlimited Dementia? or ? Insectiva Hallucinognica? but fear not. This is no outing for proggers who have listened to too much Marillion to last several sci-fi lifetimes. Said tracks establish a nice droning groove, with electronic washes that, even at their most minimal and disjointed, ring true. Sorry, Wakemanheads; Random Touch have set the controls for the heart of the body, and hit their mark. This special edition comes with a DVD of live performances. 7/10 --
