After listening to this 3? CD release by Leneva vs. Clark Nova, it still doesn?t speak to me. Leneva vs. Clark Nova are Rudi Simmons and Frank Benjamin Finger (don?t know who is Leneva and who is Clark Nova) and both apparently work with movies. This 3? CD contains two compositions for guitar and laptop, both of which are ok, but nothing more. There have been kilometers of records like this and in terms of quality ?Flotsam / Jetsam? is somewhere in the lower end of the spectrum.

?Part 1?, the first track on the CD features manipulated electric guitar, some kind of Glockenspiel sound, subtle electronics as well as Cello playing. The ideas are decent and towards the beginning it even sounds as if the track could go some place, but then the two have too many ideas and the track starts to sound like hot porridge in a bowl. On ?Part 2? they totally lose it. It contains nine minutes of seemingly senseless noodling around. This is just too boring to convince. 4/10 -- Stephan Bauer (26 September, 2007)
