Another release from the noise act that never seem to stay gone, this 7” is the equivalent of a lacklustre storm. Their free-noise perfunctory backing lacks a little something to lift it out of the same-old-same-old category. Pulsing shudder-judder blasts that could literally be any of a hundred other acts fails to inspire, The New Blockaders never seem to shine without the input of freer minds. 1/10 -- Scott McKeating (12 November, 2008)
