With Israel still exerting its own brand of realworld terror, and Japan fucking up whales when they can get away with it, their noise and doom scenes often get overlooked. This release won’t be rewriting any history books though, if this is the best these nations have to offer then you’re better off getting your terror from Barnsley or Nottingham. This is average-ness incarnate, the bands seemingly handpicked for their hilarity and derivative styles of playing. It’d be no surprise to find that some of these cherrypicked disasters were actually lampooning other acts, and that this isn’t actually a serious enterprise.
