Post industrial drone from the corroded banks of Slow Listeners bunker, these two untitled pieces work tones and sounds in remarkable ways. The opener carries two separate lines in it – a top level of falter and righting that’s improvisational and exciting, and another part of perfect human warmth – uncontained perfect melody. Like an unwired, unscrewed and open to the elements synth, Slow Listener’s tones come and go with the will of the elements. The second cut is all shortwave helicopters covering the skyline like distant black ships on the skyline, a sedimentary landscape map-pocked with ZX wahwah. Two very different cuts from a much underrated artist. 9/10 --
