I should begin this review with a poignant caveat: I never listen to this genre of music. I find it offensive. That said, I’ll labor to point out the good aspects I can identify here.
First, the vocals are lovely and well-metered, and the engineering is quite well done. The disco/rave vibe, however, is, to my ears, risible. I can’t stand it. Furthermore, the songs themselves are predictable with only a few surprises thrown in to break the otherwise unbearable rigor. As electropop goes, I suppose there are a few acceptable changes and segues to warm the overall chill, particularly those which offset the predominant chill, and I suppose there’s a lovely but muted understated druggy atmosphere here. Still, not enough to thrill me. 1/10 --
