This is the fifth release I’ve heard from S.W.P. and I must say it has easily become my favorite one. I would argue that this is Frank Baugh’s most mature work to date; reflective, introspective, and absolutely gorgeous. If you get only one Sparkling Wide Pressure release, this is it. Maybe I’m reading into it, but everything about these three tracks is dripping with the two main themes found in the album title: dreams and water. Immediately the opener begins to take you on a journey through your subconscious with surreal drones that dance like gems of sunlight upon the waters. This release is utterly relaxing yet something about it wears a hint of melancholy upon its sleeve. There’s a mix of some simple guitar structures, drifty atmospheres, soft trailing vocals (second track), and some placid noise that brings to mind the more experimental side of S.W.P. that we have all grown to love. Just amazing stuff from an amazing artist. 9/10 --
