There is a certain point where noise is noise regardless of frequency changes, different samples or manipulations. d/a a/d + nodolby's split on 905 tapes borders this. You gotta admit your admiration for people are dedicated and pushing the envelope, but collectors com'on! Past the first listen how many times are you spinning those tapes collecting dust on your bookcases? Sorry guys I like what you have going here warbled low analog rumbles and all - but I have to be harsh and say its not a 2nd spinner for me. Music like this should live in the moment, having it captured on tape dulls the excitement unless you have the ability to furnish the perfect listen each and every time ... 4/10 -- Darryl Norsen (14 January, 2010)
