Skeleton Warrior / Pro Bro Gold "split" 7''

This awesome split single comes to us courtesy of Roofless Records. Tampa's Skeleton Warrior and Pro Bro Gold team up for some good old dementia on the dance floor.

Skeleton Warrior comes strutting out on side A with the lovely ode to fatal chemical romance, "Married to Draino." Slimy-yet-playful synths bounce around to deadpan lyrical greatness like "asked my dog for advice/she said get married to Draino." In the end, vows are exchanged and a poisonous relationship blossoms. Such is love.

But the fun doesn't stop there. Pro Bro Gold isn't going to be overshadowed, and their side B cut, "Electric Fingertips" brings with it some serious crunch. The darker, pounding rhythms of this track provide a nice counterpart to the quirky Skeleton Warrior track.

Whether you're alone or with your friends, this is such a fun record to throw on. Skip your meds (or take more than the maximum prescribed dosage) and move your ass. 8/10 -- Robert Oberlander (21 April, 2010)
