Third eye opening group out of Pittsburgh, Dire Wolves seem to be another psych collective standard bearers, but break up this cassette with lots of intervals. No side long jams, plenty of variety in fidelity, soundscapes and musical choices.
Some may find the quick cuts and juxtaposition to be harshing to their buzz, but I really welcomed the variety and treated the cassette like a truly psychedelic radio station.
The second side gets really out there in a variety sense, from very quiet moods to almost punky jams.
I bet these dwellers are a fun bunch live. 7/10 --
