This little EP contains only three songs, one of which is the title track to "Ultravisitor," but the other two are so great on their own that it's worth writing about. In particular, the title track of this EP, "Squarewindow," is excellent. Synthesized string arrangements laid over a funky synth-bass line and a downtempo beat. It even has this Japanese feeling to it that's great. Imagine attending a huge party in a Japanese garden. It even has some heavily treated vocals used to great effect. They swim by like coi in a big, olive green pond. I kid you not when I say this is one of the best Squarepusher tracks around. The other exclusive cut, "Talk About You and Me" is a highly-processed IDM romp. It's not going a billion MPH like a lot of Jenkinson's stuff these days, and also has some vocoded vocals. It reminds of Squarepusher of old. It's amazing to me these two tracks were left off "Ultravisitor" as they're superior to many of those tracks. Tom Jenkinson had one hell of a productive year, especially when tracks like these are b-sides. You must get this! 8/10 --
