The last in the series of live Double Leopards CDR?s, 9.26.4 is a digital document of live low rumbles, sustained howls and atmospheric drones from the masters of haze inducing noise. This disc consists of 35 minutes of gently droning ohm and ringing oscillations inhabiting the same space as slowly shifting ominous electrical bass clouds. The overall effect being Double Leopard?s aural environments working the listener?s mind into a lull. Creating an atmosphere of murk and fog with their repertoire of moans, wails and subsonic rumbles Double Leopards create a beautiful fug to sooth the psychedelic underground. This sound is disturbing yet beautiful, like a bad dream that only seems fascinating in the waking hours made safe in the distance by time and reality. This recording let?s those unable to witness the Double Leopards live get a glimpse of the disorientation and vertigo that they bring, leaving the listener in a beautifully colored and soothing fog. 7/10 --
